A blaze that broke out in a garage on First Street in Wallaceburg yesterday (Feb. 26) is not suspicious, according to police.
Const. Renee Cowell of the Chatham-Kent Police Service told the Sydenham Current that they only release information about fires if the cause of the blaze is linked to arson allegations.
Calls to the Chatham-Kent Fire Department were not returned.
Sources say that the cause of the fire was a result of faulty wiring in the garage.
No one was injured in the blaze.
A damage estimate is not known at this time.
