The fatal pileup on Highway 402 yesterday has claimed the life of a former Wallaceburg student.
Jason White was killed in the multi-vehicle crash, which also claimed one other life yesterday (Feb. 27) when sudden snow squalls cause havoc on the highway near Oil heritage Road.
Reports say White, 18-years-old, graduated from Wallaceburg District Secondary School last year, and played various school sports and Junior ‘C’ hockey with the Wallaceburg Lakers.
Many of White’s friends took to social media to pay homage to their friend and teammate.
Funeral arrangements have yet to be finalized.
