Remembering Chip Gordon

Chip GordonWallaceburg lost a legend two years ago today.

Donald ‘Chip’ Gordon died on March 2, 2012 peacefully at the Sydneham Campus surrounded by his family.

He was 65.

Chip is survived by his wife of 40 years, Darlene, his children Heather and Donnie and his grand children Ruby Alexander and Janey and Lara Gordon.

Chip was a true ambassador for Wallaceburg.

He served as a Chatham-Kent councillor representing Wallaceburg and was a founding member and past-chairman of WAMBO.

When Chip was alive, he always had a story or a joke to tell whoever he came across that day.

Feel free to leave one of those stories below, or a fond memory of Chip as we remember a man that dedicated his life to his family and the community.
