meat ballsNeed nut-free, gluten-free, diabetic dessert or something switched in your TV Dinner?

This is no problem for Sue’s Kitchen.

“I work with my customers,” said Sue Misselbrook, owner of the business. “That is my main goal, to keep them happy and to give them what they want.”

Sue said just needs to be informed if a customer needs “nut-free.”

“I will make sure there is no nuts in there,” she said. “Everything has been cleaned, so you don’t have to worry about any exposure whatsoever”

Gluten-free items are available as well, Sue said.

“Just call me for pricing and let me know what you need,” she said. “I have a daughter that has celiac, so I know all about it. I understand the situation… I will work with anybody. I have quite a few items on my menu, that are gluten-free to begin with, as far as the meals go, the food, but even the one’s that are not, I can make certain ones gluten-free.”

Sue said she can make desserts geared towards people who are diabetic.

“I can make pies, I can make tarts, I can make cookies, I can pretty well do anything that is diabetic, except a lot of the stuff that is on the dessert trays, the squares… they don’t seem to work for diabetic,” she said.

Sue added she can adjust the TV dinners for her customers as well.

“Most of my customer base are seniors,” she said. “So if you look at the menu, and you look at a TV dinner and say you’re looking at the meatloaf, it comes with mashed potatoes and corn. If you can’t eat corn, let me know, and I’ll put something else in there for you. I can switch it up… if you don’t want scalloped potatoes and you want mashed potatoes instead, I can do that as well.”

Sue’s Kitchen has been open since June of 2011. They provide their customers with ready to heat and serve frozen meals and fresh baked goods in single or family sized portions. All menu items are prepared from scratch without the addition of salt or preservatives, making them a healthier choice than take out or fast food. With 30+ years experience in the food industry, Sue brings her love of good wholesome nutritious food into all the meals that she prepares.

If it isn’t good enough for her family, it’s not good enough for yours!
