The lone mayoral candidate in the Chatham-Kent thus far in the municipal election, is set to launch her campaign.
Marjorie Crew will be holding her campaign launch on July 10th at 6 p.m. at Country View Golf Course, along Highway 40 between Wallaceburg and Chatham.
Local musician Ryan Bradley is providing entertainment.
Currently a councillor in Ward 6 – Chatham, Crew is the only person in the community to have entered the mayoral race.
Incumbent mayor Randy Hope told the Sydenham Current he plans on seeking a third term, but has yet to file his papers.
Election day is Oct. 27.
