Last night, the Chatham-Kent Police Service conducted four separate RIDE Programs in the Municipality. CKPS Officers checked a total of 518 vehicles between locations in Blenheim, Wallaceburg and Dresden.

The Ride Program yielded the following results:

2 – Roadside Screening Tests
1 – 24 hour Suspension (young driver above 0)

Chatham-Kent Police Service reminds all drivers that driving after consuming any alcohol is just not worth it.

Whether it is a licence suspension, being arrested for impaired driving, or jeopardizing your life, or the lives of your passengers or other drivers and pedestrians, make the commitment not to drink and drive.

One drink is already too many.
