A veteran politician will be seeking re-election in West Kent – Ward 1 in the fall.
Bryon Fluker has filed his papers and will be running once again.
Fluker has represented Ward 1 since amalgamation in 1998.
Fluker joins newcomers Mark Authier, who owns The Instant Print Shoppe in Wallaceburg, and Holly Sullivan as the only others to throw their name in the hat in West Kent.
Election day is Oct. 27.
