Oaks Inn Retirement Community hiring in Wallaceburg

A handful of new jobs are available in Wallaceburg, thanks to a long-time business that is being revamped.

The Oak’s Inn Retirement Community is looking to fill a number of positions at their Wallaceburg location.

The positions include:

– Care supervisor, RPN

– Cook

– Resident and guest attendants for dietary, care, concierge, cooks helper, house keeper, lifestyle

The business is set to be operated by Seasons Retirement Communities, while it is owned by Richard and Linda Bikowski.

Construction has been moving swiftly at the McNaughton Avenue location in Wallaceburg over the past few months.

The former hotel and banquet facility has experienced a number of delays in renovations, which were slated to reach $20 million in improvements.

We’re working on setting up an interview to gather more details about the project.

  1. They should post what the rate of pay is for all of the jobs, that way if someone is contemplating switching to a new job that is say closer to town than the current job they have, they will know if it is worth their while to apply.

  4. I sent in a resume online last night. I’ve also been in the restaurant business for over 30 years. The reason I’m writing to you is that I had to own/manage establishments that wasn’t just for cooking. I maintained my restaurants by lots of hours, cleaniness and good time management. I know I could be a big asset to your company. Seniors were my favorite clientele. I’ve decided at the age of 48 to get out of the restaurant business. Looking forward to hearing from you.
