Ian McLarty is set to make another run at the mayor’s chair in Chatham-Kent.

The Eberts resident officially filed his papers today.

McLarty ran for mayor back in 2010, finishing third behind Randy Hope and Tom McGregor.

We spoke with McLarty, who stated he’ll be releasing his platform next week and in the mean time will not be making any comments to the press.

McLartly joins Marjorie Crew, Jeff Bultje, Reno Lachapelle and John C. Willatt as candidates for C-K’s top spot.

Election day is Oct. 27.
