HOT TOPIC

The Chatham-Kent Police Service and their Critical Incident Response Team were in Wallaceburg last week making a drug bust.

A total of five people were arrested and possession of methamphetamine and trafficking charges were laid.

Here is what people were saying about the incident:

Mark said on Facebook: “People will always be vulnerable , with that said we need to start going after the doctors and big drug companies that this meth is coming from , I’d love to see the real numbers of how much meth they are manufacturing in a year, I bet you it would be a jaw dropping number. I feel bad for all the good people out their hooked on big pharma and government pharmaceuticals . It is very disheartening. And for sure losers will be losers but at least maybe we can make this stuff not so easy for kids to get ahold of , I’d much rather find a joint in my kids bedroom than an oxy!”

Kevin said on Facebook: “I drove by and seen the door was kicked in. Weird I thought they sold bikes there.”

Kenneth said on Facebook: “How about locking this problem up for awhile…time these people are taken off the streets…hope the rest of them are rounded up soon as well. ..the dealers need to be shut down to…low life’s polluting our community for way to long.”

Kim said on Facebook: “It’s about time they go after the real drug problem instead of marijuana.”

Crystal said on Facebook: “Meth……. In wallaceburg?? Lmao oh gee who would have imagined!!!!!”
