A council candidate in Ward 1 – West Kent is withdrawing from the race.
Holly Sullivan withdrew her nomination yesterday.
This leaves newcomers Mark Authier, who owns the Instant Print Shoppe in Wallaceburg, Rudy Toews and incumbent Bryon Fluker as the only candidates in Ward 1.
Election day is Oct. 27.
