Kings rip Mooretown in pre-season win

The Dresden Kings lit up the scoreboard last night in a pre-season win over the Mooretown Flags.

The Kings ended up winning the high scoring affair 9-6.

Blake Padbury led the way with two goals and an assist.

Kevin Ritzer had a goal and two assists.

Kain Hopkins, Ross Krieger, Dillon Liberty, Mike Myers, Sam McPherson and Derrick Van Every all had a goal and an assist.

Steven Funk added three assists.

Cameron McAlpine made 10 saves in 32 minutes of action for the victory. Jason Buma made 21 saves in 28 minutes of action.

The Kings will head to Watford tonight to play Alvinston, which will wrap-up their pre-season.

The regular season starts for the Kings on Friday, September 12 at home.

Puck drops at the usual time, 7:30 p.m.
