Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, Sunday, October 12, that the club has recalled forward Seth Griffith from Providence and assigned forward Craig Cunningham to Providence.
A Boston Bruins press release states that Griffith will join Boston for their 11:00 a.m. practice at TD Garden on Sunday.
This is the first NHL regular season recall of Griffith’s career.
In two games with the Providence Bruins this season, Griffith has one goal with a plus-three rating.
The 5’9 192 lb. native of Wallaceburg, ON was drafted by the Bruins in the fifth round (131st overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
