A man is dead following a blaze just outside of Wallaceburg.
On Sunday October 12, 2014 just after 2:30 am Emergency Services attended to a structure fire located on Langstaff Line Wallaceburg.
Upon arrival the residence was fully engulfed by fire.
Fire Services extinguished the blaze but the building was completely destroyed with damage estimated at approximately $100,000.
During firefighting operations firefighters located a lone deceased male party inside the residence.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management, Chatham-Kent Police and Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services will be conducting a joint investigation.
The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
