Wallaceburg walking bridge meeting details set

Details have been worked out for a public meeting about the Lou Stonehouse walking bridge in Wallaceburg.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 12 between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the second floor board room of the Wallaceburg Municipal office.

Municipal officials state that the purpose of this “Public Information Centre” is to inform stakeholders of the scope of work and timing of construction activities associated with the project.

A brief presentation regarding the project will be made at 6:15 p.m. for all present.

Representatives from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent will be available to review the display boards and respond to any questions posed by stakeholders.

Area residents, property owners, business operators and those who may have a general interest in this project are encouraged to attend this meeting, representatives with the Municipality stated.
