Four people, including three youth, have been sent to hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash this afternoon in Wallaceburg.

Const. Michael Pearce, the investigating officer on the case, said a 2001 Volkswagen Golf was travelling southbound on Kimball Road when it crossed the road, hit a guardrail on the bridge over Otter Creek, and overturned south of Langstaff Line.

Pearce said the call came in at 2:18 p.m.

Two 12-year-old male passengers were sent to a hospital in London and are in critical condition.

A 15-year-old male passenger was sent to Chatham hospital with minor injuries.

The 56-year-old male driver, who is from Wallaceburg, was sent to hospital in Windsor with moderate injuries.

Pearce said all four of the people injured are related.

Kimball Road is still closed between Langstaff Line and Margaret Ave. in Wallaceburg.

“It will be closed for a few more hours,” Pearce said at 7:10 p.m. on Saturday.

The investigation is on-going.

We’ll provide more information when it becomes available.
