Verna Fraser of Wallaceburg

Verna-Fraser-1421163228Verna Fraser, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at home on her beloved farm on Monday, January 12, 2015 in her 92nd year.

Predeceased by her devoted husband John in 2003 as well as her parents Elmer & Maggie Shaw & 2 sisters Mary Henderson and Evelyn Richardson.

Verna was the proud mother of Betty (Bob) Blake, Alan (Lynne) Fraser, Suzi (Ron) Clatworthy and Judith (John) Slocum.

She adored her grandchildren Kim (Rick) Kowch, Tamara (Steve) Sloan, Beth (Mike) Blake, John (Yvonne) Fraser, Paul (Lori) Fraser, Erin (Alex) Clatworthy and Alex Lindsey as well as 11 ½ great grandchildren.

Verna had an unshakeable faith in God which supported her through 32 years of struggle following a serious stroke.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 PM on Thursday.

The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, January 16 at 11 AM.

Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
