Laura Thorpe passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the CKHA “Chatham” at the age of 91 years.
Daughter of the late Alfred and Laura (Clark) Rose.
Beloved wife of the late Oliver Thorpe. Mother of Tom (Christianne) Thorpe and Millie Kirby.
Dear Grandmother of Taylor, Tommy, Peggy, Clifford, Sue, Cindy, Matthew and Patricia.
Also sadly missed by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Predeceased by a son Fred, two daughters Mary Anne and Margaret Anne, a daughter-in-law Tabathia Thorpe, a son-in-law Tom Kirby and two brothers Ed and Joseph.
The late Laura Thorpe is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home (639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg) with visitation being held on Sunday March 1, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at the funeral home at 11am.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery. as an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
