Katherine (Linda) Secord a resident of Thamesville passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 93.
Linda was born in Glasgow, Scotland, daughter of the late Neil and Catherine (Baxter) Hawthorn and has resided in Thamesville since 1951. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. (Bob) Secord (2014). Survived by one son Neil and his wife Anne Secord of Thamesville and Rhona and her husband Brian Dyer of Chatham and grandchildren Scott Secord, Caitlin Dyer (Rob Denys) and Jessie Dyer. Predeceased by her brother Grahame and sister Agnes (Nannette). At Linda’s request cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service will be held at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Saturday April 4, 2015 at 1:00pm (Visitation 1 hour prior to the service). Interment in Sherman Cemetery, Thamesville. If desired donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
