On Tuesday November 3rd, 2015 at approximately 1:25 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a commercial motor vehicle roll-over collision in the area of 401 Highway eastbound just east of Communication Road, Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
Chatham-Kent OPP along with Chatham-Kent Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and Harwich Fire Department attended the scene of a commercial motor vehicle roll-over at 401 Highway eastbound just east of Communications Road, Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
A lone occupant that was involved in the collision was transported by EMS to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
401 Highway eastbound at Communications Road was closed for several hours for investigative purposes and to allow the commercial motor vehicle to be removed and the highway cleared of debris.
As a result of this investigation, a 56 year-old man from Strathroy-Caradoc Township was issued a Summons and charged with, Careless Driving.
