The 2016 Municipality of Chatham-Kent budget process will get under way on Tuesday, January 12 when the draft municipal budget will be presented to Council. That marks the beginning of a three week political review process that will include several opportunities for public comment.
Members of Council and the municipal administration will be at open house sessions on Tuesday, January 19, Wednesday, January 20 and Thursday, January 21 from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM. A brief presentation will be made at 5 PM.

Council is providing time at its budget information meeting to receive information from:
– Groups that may be requesting funding
– Organizations wishing to comment on the municipal budget process
