Damage to two hydro poles on Tuesday afternoon led to a temporary power outage in Wallaceburg on Tuesday evening.
Chatham-Kent police officials say just before 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon, the driver of a transport truck struck a low hanging hydro wire on Elgin Street near Lisgar Street causing damage to two poles.
Entegrus attended the area for repairs.
Hydro poles were damaged after an accident in #Wallaceburg yesterday. An outage occurred last night while crews repaired broken equipment.

Police say damage is estimated at $5,000.
The driver was a 47-year-old Windsor man.
No charges will be laid.
