A big crowd is expected at the tractor pull on Friday night in Dresden, which will wrap up night one of the 141st annual Dresden Exhibition.
The Southwest Tractor Pullers and the Ontario Tractor Pullers Association are coming to the event being held at the Dresden Raceway.
The doors open at 6 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m.
Admission is $15 and kids is $5.
Before the roars of the tractors take over, the opening ceremonies will be held in the arena auditorium starting at 6 p.m.
“There is one last question that they ask the ambassadors, princesses and princes and than they crown this year’s ambassador and officially open the fair,” said Alicia Van Esse, a member of the fair committee.
“There is speeches from the president, from past ambassadors and the princesses/princes. Shirley McCarroll with give a speech and than the fair will officially open.”
The contestants in the ambassador competition this year are Rachael Cameron, Emma Richards and Hannah Badder.
