Pair of pickup trucks stolen in Wallaceburg

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are investigating after a pair of truck thefts in Wallaceburg.

Police officials say sometime in the early hours of Thursday, August 25, unknown suspects stole a 2003 Chevrolet Duramax pickup truck, pewter in colour, from the Bluewater Line area in Wallaceburg.

The pickup truck was last seen with Ontario license plates 7588FR.

In a separate incident, police officials say on Thursday, August 25, at approximately 8:30 a.m., officers attended a Maple Street address in Wallaceburg in response to a stolen vehicle complaint.

Overnight a 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck, gold coloured with matching truck topper.

The pickup truck was last seen with Ontario license plates 6352YZ

  1. Another was stolen in the West Lorne area last night from the owner’s driveway. Sounds pretty much like the last rash of truck thefts.
