The Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is pleased to welcome Candice Jeffrey as the new Coordinator-Communications, Marketing and Donor Relations.

Jeffrey commenced employment August 15, 2016.

Jeffrey brings with her over seven years of experience from her previous roles in communications within the community; most recently as the Communications and Fund Development Coordinator at Community Living Wallaceburg.

Previously, Candice was the Coordinator of Communications and Fundraising for the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent, and held positions with the creative and marketing departments with Blackburn Radio Inc, in addition to various roles within the not-for-profit sector.

Jeffrey’s years of experience have allowed her to have a keen understanding and clear perspective of the Chatham-Kent community’s demographics, philanthropic community, business markets, media, political elements, ongoing healthcare issues and significant healthcare fundraising initiatives and successes.

“Over the years I have witnessed Candice’s vibrant style with her interactions within the non-profit sector, the community and other key stakeholders at all levels,” says Michele Grzebien-Huckson, Executive Director of the Foundation of CKHA. “She is an energetic individual who demonstrates strong professional abilities and has a solid background in developing fundraising and communication strategies. Her non-profit social media experience and community relations skills are positive attributes that the Foundation of CKHA is fortunate to acquire.”

Jeffrey’s primary role will be communicating details of Phase two of the “Future In Focus” CKHA Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign. Her other responsibilities will include developing marketing materials, preparing campaign information packages, developing annual giving programs, media relations, donor recognition and growing the Foundation’s online presence.
