Bill Seed formerly of Wallaceburg

1857071_profile_picMr. William H. Seed “Bill”, was a resident of Chatham and formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Riverview Gardens, in Chatham, at the age of 81 years.

He was born in Wallaceburg and was the only child of the late Eldon and Gwen Seed. Beloved husband of Kathleen “Kay” (McFadden) Seed. Dear father to Mike (Shanti) Oulds, and Ted (Gail) Oulds. Dear Grandfather of Michelle and Charlene and great grandfather of Keegan, Emmett, Tyler and Ella. Brother-in-law of Benny McFadden. Survived by a special niece Marsha (Don) Handsor. Bill had worked for the Libby Glass Factory and Navistar for many years. He was an avid sports fan always supporting his favourite teams, most of all the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Detroit Tigers.

The late Bill Seed is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A service to celebrate Bills’ life will then take place at 1 p.m. from the funeral home. Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham Kent Humane Society may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Bill Seed.
