Today, marks the 5th annual Cybertip.ca Awareness Day.

Cybertip.ca is part of the Government of Canada’s National Strategy for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation on the Internet and is owned and operated by the Canadian Centre for Child Protection – a charitable organization dedicated to the personal safety of all children.

This year the Canadian Centre for Child Protection is recognizing this important day by promoting a new public awareness day campaign titled Every Click Helps Us Protect Children from Sexual Abuse.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to encourage all Canadians to take a stand against online child sexual victimization by reporting suspicious online activity and/or concerning material to www.cybertip.ca.
