Fuel tanker and car collide in Wallaceburg

Police and ambulance crews attended to Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg for a crash, just after 1 p.m.

It appeared at the scene that the collision involved a car and fuel tanker.

There is no word on injuries, although individuals involved were spotted walking under their own power.

Official details are scarce at the moment.

We’ll provide more information when it becomes available.

  1. That’s one of the reasons why their is a truck route going around Wallaceburg, yet the MTO and the C-K Police don’t enforce truckers inorder to follow it. On a daily bases I see tankers and other semis going trough town constantly slamming on breaks, using their “J” breaks, along with turn onto McNaughton from Dufferin going so fast it appears the truck and trailer are going to tip over. Also, on my last point the last thing we need in this town is one of these tankers flipping over in the main intersection of our beautiful town and leaking harmful chemicals into our water.
