Babcock Jewellers is celebrating a pair of milestones at their downtown Dresden store.
Brent Babcock said it is the businesses 63rd anniversary and they will have discounts sales store-wide, from 20% to 60% off.
“The other milestone is that it is my 30th year working at the store,” he said.
“So it should be a big one. All kinds of weekly ‘door crasher’ specials. We are going to have some super stocking stuffers and great draw prizes at the end, which will be on the 22nd of October.”
Babcock said you can find “way more than jewelry” at the shop.
“We have a wide variety of gift ware, collectibles, we are a Bradford Exchange dealer, Willow Tree, Swarovski. There is all kinds of things we are carrying. Watches and watch batteries, clocks, a wide gamut to cover almost every occasion you could think of.”
Babcock said the sale is going from now until October 22.
At this time, they are doing the draw for some of the prizes.
“We have a really nice Bradford musical tree ornament that is about three feet high and is worth over $250,” he said.
“There is watches for men and ladies. Northern Dancer Jewelry which is the Canadian version of our Pulse jewelry… that is where the diamond moves constantly through vibration. I believe there is going to be some Elle jewelry given away. So many different items.”
Babcock Jewellers is located right in the heart of downtown Dresden, across from the TD Canada Trust Bank.
“We are over 1,400 square feet of merchandise from gift ware to jewelry and we have got a great sale on right now. Come and see us. It will be worth the drive.”
