Pataki scores three times

Wallaceburg’s Jonah Pataki scored three touchdowns on Saturday, as the Queen’s Golden Gaels trounced the Windsor Lancers 55-5 in Kingston.

Pataki rushed for 140 yards on 24 carries to lead Queen’s to the victory.

The 4th year running back had touchdowns runs of 12, 4 and 1-yard.

Pataki doubled up his season total on Saturday and now has six TDs on the year, a career-high.

Queen’s, who is 3-4 on the year, will host Ottawa on Saturday.

Dresden beats Amherstburg

The Dresden Kings skated to a 5-4 win over the Amherstburg Admirals on Sunday.

Eric Carter, Ryan Malott, Kevin Ritzer, Dayne Davis and Austin Bentley all scored for the Kings, who improved their record to 6-5-1 on the season.

Those 13 points put them in second place in the Stobbs Division, behind the Blenheim Blades.

Dresden will host Mooretown on Friday, Oct. 21 in their next game.

Lakers lose to Blenheim

The Wallaceburg Lakers lost a tough game to the Blenheim Blades on Sunday, by a score of 10-0.

The loss puts Wallaceburg’s record at 0-7-1 to begin the season.

The Lakers will host Amherstburg on Wednesday.

Pataki helps Knights win

Brady Pataki was +1 and had three shots on net, as the London Knights topped the Windsor Spitfires 4-0 on Friday.

Pataki has yet to record a point in four games with London, after being acquired from the Sudbury Wolves.

Leafs beat Bruins, Griffith sits

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith has yet to suit up for the Toronto Maple Leafs, after being acquired from Boston last week.

The Leafs did take care of Griffith’s former club on Saturday, beating the Bruins 4-1.

The Leafs will in Winnipeg for their next game on Wednesday.
