RUSSELL, Captain William “Bill” – Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of Marie Russell (nee Bilbie) for 63 years. Loving father of Peggy Oldham (Roy) of London, Tom Russell (Lois) of Woodstock and Bill Russell (Maureen) of Banff, Alberta. Proud grandfather of his 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Russell and Margaret (nee Davie) Russell, as well as his siblings.
The family will receive friends at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N., Woodstock on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, 1pm at the Salvation Army Church, 769 Juliana Drive, Woodstock with Major Stephen Sears officiating.
