Fishing tackle, satellite receiver, TV stolen in Wallaceburg

A break-in at a Gillard Street storage facility is the Crime of the Week for Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers officials say during the overnight hours of Sunday, October 16, unknown suspects cut their way through a chain link fence into the storage facility.

The thieves then entered four different storage units and made off with a fishing tackle box and a Shaw direct satellite receiver and a 55-inch television.

Total value of the theft $2,000 and $1,500 in damages to the facility.
