Goldcoast Fashions is excited and ready for the Christmas season in Wallaceburg.
In order to showcase their full lineup, the downtown shop is holding an open house on November 24, 25 and 26.
“Every year we have an open house to celebrate all of our customers,” said Nicole Parker, manager of the Wallaceburg location.
“We don’t really like the way certain sales run because one thing is on sale or the other thing is on sale and you don’t really get what you want on sale. So this way we run it so that everybody gets to choose whats on sale. You choose your favourite item in the store. Anything that you want and it’s half price and then after that you get 25% off everything else.”
Nicole said a lot of longer tops are back in style this season.
“Sweater dresses, a lot of layering but there are some cute shorter sweaters from Parkhurst and Cotton Country that are making a come back. We didn’t see a lot of those last year,” she said.
“Also a lot of athletic kind of wear. A lot of layers, a lot of Canadian made fashions. That is huge for us, now we are over 75% ‘Made in Canada’ so we like to try and focus on that.”
Nicole said Goldcoast is offering a lot more bags and accessories.
“We have been getting a few new lines for jewelry and shoes as well,” she said.
“We have a great line of boots. They last a really long time. They wash nice. They are not leather but they look great. We have scarves and we started out with purses again this year so quite a few new clutches and purses and bags too. Pretty much anything you need to complete the outfit. We also have dress shoes from Benjamin Walk. Those are suitable for your more formal attire.”
Nicole said it is a great place to get your Christmas outfit.
“Head to toe,” she said. “If you are shopping for a gift too we do refunds up to 14 days after Christmas.”
