Leeson: Helena “Helen”(nee Jones) formerly of Florence, passed away peacefully at Copper Terrace Long Term Care, Chatham on Sunday, November 27, 2015 at the age of 91.
Born in Zone Twp., daughter of the late Roy and Elsie (Eberle) Jones. Beloved wife of the late Jim Leeson (1990). Loving mother of Nancy Richardson (John) of Chatham, Bill Leeson (Ruth Anne) of Florence, Ross Leeson (Nicole) of Chatham, Harold Leeson (Denise) of Chatham and Dennis Leeson. Sadly missed by grandchildren Davin, Ryan, Jared, Chris, Roxanne, Shawn, Andrew, Jessie and great-grandchildren Zoe, Jessie, Ben, Jake, Robin, Kaitlyn, Logan, and Lyric. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Verlyn Lapensee (Nelson), Beulah Jones and Janice Jones. Predeceased by her son Frank Leeson (1973), granddaughter Colette (2015), brothers Lloyd (Rose), Ross (Gladys), Garnet , Ralph (Shirley), and Louis Jones. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The Leeson family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Celebration of Helen’s Life at 11:00 AM. Interment of Cremains in Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations to the Copper Terrace Memorial Garden or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
