Singing final, Walpole parade, ‘Practically Hip’, weekend weather

Let’s see what is going on this weekend in the area:

– A free community meal will be held at St. James Anglican Church in Wallaceburg at 5 p.m. on Friday.

– A Christmas Craft Sale and Lunch is being held at Times of Refreshing in Wallaceburg from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch is available and baked goods, Dorthy’s famous butter tarts, jewelry, tie dyed shirts, fabulous paintings, beautiful table runners and more at the 22 Lafontaine Street event.

– The finals for the Homeward Star Search singing contest will be held Friday night at the CBD Club in Wallaceburg. 12 singers will be vying for the title and the $1,000 cash prize.

– Santa Claus parades will be held in Blenheim and Bothwell this evening. Both events start at 7 p.m.

– ‘Practically Hip’ will be performing at the Bar Out Back in Chatham on Saturday. Here are the details:
