Let’s see what is going on this weekend in the area:
– Santa Claus is coming to Dresden this weekend! Dresden Kinsmen will be hosting ‘A Magical, Musical Christmas’ on Saturday, December 10 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. People can line up at Dresden Area Central School at 5 p.m. for judging. Parade makes its way through Dresden and ends at the Rotary Park Stage (across from Foodland) where kids can meet Santa.
– Bkejwanong Children’s Centre Christmas Craft Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bkejwanong Youth Facility:
– LEGO fun at the Wallaceburg Library on Saturday, Dec. 10. It will take place all day, and people are being encouraged to bring a friend and create a woodland winter scene with LEGO. There is also the DIY Holiday Ornament Program taking place on Saturday. Using old books, create a Modge Podge sparkling ornament for the holidays.
This is intended for children ages 6 and up. Registration is required.
– A visit with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jeanne Gordon Theatre, above the Wallaceburg Museum on Saturday, December 10. Make a craft, write a letter to Santa, enjoy refreshments and have your photo taken with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, photo $5. Additional photo $3, group photo $5. – Pet photos with Santa on Saturday, December 10 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Pet Valu in Wallaceburg. It only costs a $10 donation of product which can be purchased in store at the time of photo. (Food, treats, litter, etc.)
You will receive a 4×6 photo of your pets and give some animals in need a happy holiday too!
All donations go to Local Wallaceburg Rescues:
– A FREE community meal will be held at the Our Lady Help of Christians Parish Centre on Sunday night, starting at 5p.m.
