Philbert Morgan ‘Phil’ Wrightman, a resident of Walpole Island First Nation, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the age of 56.
Phil is the son of the late Leander and Adaline (Blackbird) Wrightman. Beloved father of Jesse Wrightman (Denise) and grandfather of Cheyanne. Dear brother of Polly George, Jackie Soney, Winnifred Jacobs (Gary), Telford Wrightman (Darlene) and the late Arnold, Leander and Gwendolyn Wrightman. Partner and good friend of Alice Kroenke. He will also be missed by his many nieces & nephews.
Phil was a Tool & Mould Maker by trade working in various foundries, but he most enjoyed millwork and building things out of wood.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 PM on Thursday and Friday, December 8 and 9th. Cremation will follow with a celebration of life at his home at a later date.
