Roger Cornelius Goetheyn, a resident of Tupperville, died peacefully at the Chatham hospital on Sunday, January 15, 2016 at the age of 60.
Roger is the son of the late Louis Cornelius & Ruby Violia (Miller) Goetheyn. Beloved husband of Tracey (Labadie). Loving father of Tonya Oldershaw (Blake), Brooke Goetheyn (Chad Bennett), Matthew Goetheyn (Rachel) and Michael Goetheyn (Candice). Dear Papa of Shylynn, Emily, Cohen, Taia, Ariabella, Khara, Rylan, Nathan, Trinity and Carson. Brother of Iris Prole (John), Rick (Grace), Rob (Janice), David (Carol), Doug (Tina) and Darrlyle and brother-in-law of Trudy Balint (David). He will be missed by his many nieces & nephews.
Roger was a lifelong farmer and truck driver.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Friday, January 20 at 11 AM.
Interment to follow at Dresden Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to Children’s Hospital London, London Regional Cancer Centre or Chatham Oncology Unit may be left at the funeral home. 519.627.3231.
