Mary Ellen Irwin, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at Fairfield Park on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the age of 83.
Mary is the daughter of the late William Russell & Ellen Elizabeth (Aitken) Ewing. Predeceased by her beloved husband Francis in 2006. Loving mother of David (Mary), Paul (Denise) and the late Stewart (2012).
Dear grandmother of Matthew (Jennifer), Christopher, D.J. (Kayla), Ray (Lisa), Denise (Josh), Crystal (Brad), Sophie (Ben), Danielle (Kyle), Ryan (Sue) and great grandmother of Zander, Payton, Julia, Conner, Karter, Rones, Christine and Nicholas. Sister of Lou Allen, Norm Ewing and the late Isobel Benn, Jim Ewing, Edna Eves and Gordon Ewing.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday. The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Monday, January 30 at 11 AM. Cremation with interment to follow in Dresden Cemetery.
