Liberty wins MVP, Waller wins award for most desire

Dresden Kings captain Dillon Liberty has taken home the top individual honour in the Provincial Junior Hockey League’s Stobbs Division, after he was named the most valuable player for the entire division.

The honour isn’t a huge surprise as the numbers don’t lie for the 21-year-old Thamesville resident.

He won the scoring title with 77 points in 38 games. He also led the division with 45 goals, which tied him for for third-most in the entire Provincial Junior Hockey League.

Wallaceburg Lakers captain Trevor Waller also won some hardware.

The forward won the award for most desire.

Waller led the club with 21 goals and 37 points.
