Eugene Joseph St. Croix, of Wallaceburg and formerly of Port Lambton, died peacefully at C-K Hospice on Friday, February 03, 2017 at the age of 85.
Gene is the son of the late Raymond & Marceline (O’Connor) St. Croix. Beloved husband of Christina and the late Margaret St. Croix. Loving father of Chris St. Croix, Cathy Blake (Kevin), Cheryl Ronda (late Jose) and the late Carol Childs and Cindy St. Croix and stepfather of Deborah DeBoer (Richard), David Bouwmeester and Michelle Hall (Don).
Dear grandfather of Barbara Ann St. Croix, Christopher Childs, Joe St. Croix, Matthew Ronda, Stephen (Joanna), Eric (Kathleen) and Evan DeBoer, Matthew Bouwmeester and Bronte, Tessa, Jack and Mariel Hall. Great grandfather of several great grandchildren. Brother of Don, Dennis, Raymond, Irene and the late Ron, Marion, Blanche, Cecile, Leo, Michael and Jean Paul.
Gene was the former owner of St. Croix Memorials.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday. The funeral will be celebrated at the Wallaceburg Christian Reformed Church, 150 Bruinsma Avenue in Wallaceburg on Monday, February 6 at 11 AM. Cremation to follow with interment in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
