Edward Gwilt “Ted” Wrigley, a resident of Port Lambton, passed away at the Sydenham Residence in Wallaceburg on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the age of 92.
Ted was the Owner/Operator and mechanic of the Ecarte Marina, the Snye Channel Marina and a member of the Antique Boat Club.
He is the son of the late William and Ruby (Gwilt) Wrigley. Beloved husband of the late Merle (Murray) and partner of the late Marilyn Gardiner. Loving father of Valorie Verstraete (Tom) and the late Janet Wrigley Davis. Predeceased by infant twins William and Elaina. Father-in-law of Keith Davis. Cherished grandfather of Aaron (Diane), Tracey, Dallas (Brooke), Marina (Josh) and great grandfather of Hailey, Olivia, Abby and Jillian. Predeceased by his brother William.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Monday from 7-9 PM and on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 10 AM until time of funeral Service in the chapel at 11 AM.
Interment at McDonald Cemetery, Port Lambton. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the SPCA or the Alzheimer Society may be left at the funeral home. 519.627.3231.
