Wallaceburg Kinsmen support Red Devils

The Wallaceburg Kinsmen Club has stepped up to support the Wallaceburg Red Devils Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse club.

Sheldon Parsons, a Kinsmen member, dropped by with a $2,500 cheque to the team on Saturday, while they were hosting a camp at the former D.A. Gordon Public School.

Team president Rob Pollock and head coach Justin Durston were on hand for the donation.

Pollock said the the team will decide at a future meeting how to utilize the funds.

Kings drop Gm. #2 to Blenheim

The Blenheim Blades evened up their best-of-seven series with the Dresden Kings on Monday night, skating to a 5-2 win.

Dillon Liberty and Brendan Ritchie scored the goals for the Kings, who were outshot 37-30 at Dresden Arena.

Joel Sowinski made 32 saves in the loss.

The series is now tied 1-1.

Game #3 will shift back to Blenheim on Thursday.

Puck drops at 7 p.m.
