Tartans win three straight in boy’s hockey

The Wallaceburg Tartans senior boys hockey team is rolling along, after winning their third straight game on Monday.

The Tartans topped the Royals in Ridgetown 5-4.

Elijah Contreras had 2 goals and 2 assists to lead the way for Wallaceburg.

Bryer Genyn added 2 goals for the Tartans.

Wallaceburg beat the first place Lambton-Kent Cardinals on Thursday, February 9, by a score of 3-2.

Carter White, Austin Myers and Kyle Toulouse all scored for the Tartans.

Roy Hinnegan and Zander Wright scored for the Dresden squad.

The Cards are in first place in the LKSSAA South Division, as they own a 4-2-0 record for 8 points.

The Tartans are now tied with UCC for 2nd place in the division, as both teams have a 3-2-0 record.

Panthers top Tartans, Cardinal juniors beat Pain Court in girls volleyball

The John McGregor Panthers swept the Wallaceburg Tartans in ‘AA/AAA’ senior girls volleyball on Tuesday.

The Panthers won three straight games.

The Lambton-Kent Cardinals junior team beat Pain Court in three straight games on Monday.

Cards top UCC in girls hockey by forfeit

The Lambton-Kent Cardinals beat UCC 1-0 in LKSSAA senior girls hockey on Monday.

The game was forfeited by UCC for having a lack of players.

This is the Cards first win of the season.
