Directors named for Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) is pleased to announce its new Chief and Medical Program Directors for Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine.

In follow-up to CKHA’s New Medical Leadership announcement on February 9, 2017, the physician leaders that will join the organization’s Medical Advisory Committee are as follows:

Paediatrics

“I would like to extend my sincerest congratulations to Dr. Edwards and Dr. Dixon. Their appointments round out a robust Medical Advisory Committee comprised of competent and skilled physician leaders,” said Rob Devitt, Hospital Supervisor. “I am confident that our new structure’s vision and leadership will continue to lead the organization in the delivery of high quality care while ensuring accountability and value in the healthcare system.”

CKHA would like to express its sincere appreciation to Dr. Jennifer MacKinnon, who served as Interim Chief and Program Medical Director for the Emergency Department. Dr. Pervez Faruqi will continue in his role as Chief of Psychiatry and Program Medical Director of Mental Health.
