Wallaceburg ‘tire slasher’ arrested in Windsor

The Chatham-Kent Police arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant for mischief.

Police officials say officers responded to a residence in Wallaceburg where a Windsor man had allegedly slashed the tires on two vehicles.

The man fled the residence prior to police arrival.

A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest for the offence of mischief.

Yesterday, Windsor Police located the man and he was taken in to custody and turned over to the Chatham-Kent Police.

The 37-year-old man was released with conditions pending a future court date.
