Four Wallaceburg youth competed in the Darts Ontario Youth Provincials on March 11 and 12 in St. Catharines.
Stephanie McKenney, 16, Keegan Devine, 13, Nick Balics, 14, and Marshall Vercauteren, 12, all participated in the event held at the Holiday Inn.
Stephanie and Keegan were partners in the doubles portion of the tournament, and they ended up finishing in 3rd place.
Nick and Marshall also competed in doubles, but didn’t place.
All four players played singles, but didn’t crack the podium.
The Moose Lodge in Wallaceburg stepped up to the plate for the kids leading up to provincials.
A dart tournament, a bake sale, and a bingo was held at the Moose as fundraisers for the kids.
Other donations were also gathered and a total of $300 was given to each of the four youth.
Over 100 participants from all over Ontario took part in the tournament.
