Mrs. Doris Emily Thomas, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 91.
Doris was a daughter of the late James and Hattie (Quinn) Robbins.
Beloved wife of the late Cecil Thomas (1969).
Loving mother of Judy (Barry) Puskas, Kim Thomas, Larry Thomas, Bob Thomas and the late Pat Thomas (1967), Al Thomas (2013) and Ron Thomas (2014).
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Stephen, Lisa, Michael, Jessica, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Kind sister and sister-in-law of Jane, Stanley “Burke”, Verda Robbins and Bill Hipple.
Predeceased by her brothers Bill, Jim, Harold, Chuck and her sisters Helen, Betty and Nancy.
Friends and family will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 18, 2017 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Gerard Bedard, Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery, Port Lambton.
