Wallaceburg’s Jonah Pataki is participating in the CFL’s Ontario Regional Combine today in Toronto.

The Queen’s Golden Gaels running back is joined by other players from across the province who are competing in various drills, including vertical jump, bench press, 40-yard dash, and broad jump.

There will also be other positional drills held at the combine.

Pataki is currently sitting in second in the vertical leap portion of the combine, with a jump of 36 inches.

The former Wallaceburg Tartans star is hoping to score an invitation to the national CFL combine being held March 23 to March 25 in Regina.

Pataki had a career-year for the Golden Gaels this past season.

He finished in fourth place in the OUA with 814 rushing yards in eight games.

He tied for fourth with seven rushing touchdowns and was fifth with 101.8 yards per game.

Pataki was also named this year’s 2016 Athlete of the Year by the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame.

Pataki is eligible for the CFL draft this year.

The draft will take place on May 7.
