The Ontario Health Coalition is set to release the results of a survey that they launched at the end of last year.

In November and December 2016, the Chatham-Kent, Wallaceburg-Walpole Island First Nation and the Ontario Health Coalition conducted a survey to gather input on access and quality of local hospital care.

“What they think is good, what they think is bad and what they would like to say to the CEO and Supervisor of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance,” Shirley Roebuck, the chair of the local coalition, told the Sydenham Current back in October.

“We are doing this so that the public has a say in how our health care services are planned as we move forward with organization of CKHA.”

The survey results will be given to the government-appointed hospital supervisor, the new CEO, and the Minister of Health.

Hundreds of residents participated in the process by filling in surveys in Chatham and Wallaceburg.

The full survey results will be released during two press conferences being held on Monday, March 20 in Wallaceburg and Chatham.
